The CASA Board of Directors is invaluable to the CASA program. A strong board of directors, often called the backbone of a non-profit, is vital in helping a CASA program fulfill its mission for abused children.
CASA Board members contribute to the big picture of advocacy for abused and neglected children. They share individual talents including financial, fundraising/development, organizational planning, public and media relations/marketing, legal issues, community organizing, meeting facilitation, event coordination, and volunteer recruitment, as they create a vision for the future.
